The original idea for this was to have to separate cups with silhouettes of buildings with one bridge to connect them. I got as far as cutting out the pieces to form the bridge and trying to bind them together. I tried this process several times and in several different ways. My main problem was the weight of the bridge and how the two cups were not stable enough to support it. I sat for a while and realized when one cup is put on top of the other they mirror one another. I added a few details such a stars on one and clouds on the other. When turned one of two ways, the cups reflect the busy city scene and contrast with the time of day it is. Though this project didn't turn out how I originally wanted it to, and it may not look as aesthetically pleasing as I'd like it to, it's a concept I enjoy.
